The Need
The manufacturer needed a mobile-first yard management solution to improve administrative oversight of yard jockey operations and reduce manual effort. Leadership required real-time visibility into trailer locations, jockey tasks, and workforce activity across plant yards, while supporting mobile execution in dynamic, on-ground conditions.

- Manual Yard Operations: Yard jockey coordination and task tracking relied heavily on manual processes, increasing effort and limiting responsiveness.
- Lack of Real-Time Visibility: Administrators had limited real-time insight into trailer movements, jockey locations, and task status across the yard.

CES designed and delivered a cross-platform YMS mobile service tightly integrated with the existing YMS admin portal to digitize yard operations end to end.
